A modern barndominium retreat built for people who want something real — warm wood, black steel, open skies, and nowhere to be.
Ohio Getaways began with a simple belief — people deserve a place to actually stop. Not a hotel. Not a resort. Something that feels lived-in and intentional.
We found a piece of land in Barnesville, Ohio. Good area, good neighbors, the kind of quiet that's hard to come by. We saw something most people drive past.
This is the first. The plan is to build a small, carefully chosen collection of stays across the state — each one in a community worth visiting, each one worth the drive.
Three bedrooms, two baths, black steel and warm wood — designed for the kind of trip that actually restores you.
Dark board-and-batten exterior meets warm exposed beams, wide-plank wood floors, and a fireplace you'll actually use. Three bedrooms, room for everyone, and a deck made for mornings with nowhere to be.

Tucked into the rolling hills of Belmont County, Barnesville is the kind of place most people drive through without stopping. We stopped — and we're glad we did.
Quiet roads, wide skies, and easy access to some of the most underrated scenery in Ohio.
End of the Block is coming soon. Get early access before we go live on Airbnb.
